Hotel Entry Courtyard

This 130-hectare site on the Mexican Riviera encompasses two natural lagoons and a cenote (unique wetlands structure).  Grupo Posadas, a Mexican hotelier, will develop this site as a mixed-use resort property.

Phasing Plan – note gray areas off limits to development

The architectural design for the larger structures is a contemporary interpretation of some of the Mayan’s stone buildings, while the smaller structures interpret the Mayan vernacular.  The design and detailing are informed by a storyline that was created for the client specific to this project and the site.

The architectural team included Mohammed Attia for the larger structures and Bill Salter for the smaller structures.
